Values
Being a wedding photographer is a huge privilege. I get to capture the most intimate emotions of two people making a lifetime commitment to each other. It’s a job I come home from every time exhausted but with a massive smile. It's emotionally challenging but extremely rewarding. I get to meet wonderful people and preserve memories from the happiest day of their lives. What’s not to love?
Your wedding day, first and foremost is for you and your partner. You’re the creative director. You set the tone, the vision, and how it should look and feel. No vendor or person should dictate how your day unfolds. My role is to support that, understand your vision, and capture it as creatively and authentically as I can.
Wedding photos are incredibly important. They will hold meaning for generations. A hundred years from now, your children and grandchildren will be able to see your love story unfold through the images we created together.
Here are some values I’m committed to as a wedding photographer:
1. You Come First.
Every wedding is unique. It’s a personal, emotional event shaped by your love story, your journey, and the moments that matter most to you. Hearing little stories about how you and your partner met or learning about your personalities helps me photograph moments that truly represent you.
2. Clear Communication.
From our first conversation to your final gallery, I value openness and honesty. I want to see your mood board, hear about your favourite poses, and understand your vision. It’s your story. You write the script. I capture it.
3. A Safe Space to Relax.
Nothing feels fake or forced. Most of the day is purely documented, letting you enjoy it without pressure. For moments like a first look or couple portraits, I’ll provide gentle guidance so you feel confident in front of the camera. Everything else, the conversations, hugs, tears, and laughter, is completely candid.
I want you to have artwork from your wedding day that makes you feel like the main character.
4. Creative Collaboration.
Photography is a shared process. I bring my experience and creative eye, you bring your vision and dream ideas. Together, we will create something honest, meaningful, and personally tailored exactly to your day.
If you’re getting married in 2026, my availability is limited, but I’d love to see if your date is still free. My 2027 and 2028 diaries are open, and I’d be excited to chat and see if we connect. Let’s have a conversation and find out if our vision and values align.
