Apple Invites - Great for Guest Management?

Today, Apple launched their 'Invites' app. This app is something that couples could use as a quick & simple solution to their own wedding management. It's only available to iCloud+ subscribers (not ideal), and it provides a few features that could make your wedding planning a little easier!

I think it has some really cool features that could enhance your own wedding! I've given a brief summary below - the last one is the most interesting! 👇

Personalised Invitations: Couples can design custom "digital invitations" using personal photos or selections from the app's curated gallery. Integration with Apple Maps and Weather ensures guests receive accurate directions and real-time weather updates for the day of the wedding.

RSVP Management: The app streamlines guest list management by tracking RSVPs in real-time, allowing couples to monitor attendance and make informed decisions about seating and catering.

Shared Albums and Playlists: With iCloud Shared Albums, couples and guests can contribute photos and videos, creating a collaborative collection of memories. Additionally, Apple Music integration enables the creation of event-specific playlists, enhancing the wedding atmosphere.

participants can easily contribute photos and videos to a dedicated Shared Album within each invite to help preserve memories and relive the event.

On the flip side - Wedding suppliers could use this with couples that could upload images themselves, or ask their guests to add to the shared album, so that the vendor has great images of their products & services being used at their wedding! This is something that a lot of vendors don't get to see, but would be great for their socials!
