Hi I’m Jean, a Humanist Wedding Celebrant and Narrator of Joy! I create bespoke, meaningful, legal and fun humanist wedding ceremonies for awesome couples who want to celebrate their love on their terms. 

As an accredited Humanists UK celebrant for the last 8 years, I work with you to create a bespoke ceremony which celebrates your unique story and journey. It is your opportunity to celebrate love, create authentic impact, meaning and inclusion in your wedding day. It will be a lot of fun while still focusing on the significance of your marriage. Part of my job as your celebrant is to mentally hold your hand every step of the way.

Is it radical to want your ceremony to focus on you? The two people who have chosen to spend their lives together?
When working with you and writing your ceremony, I aim to capture your true feelings for each other by creating a safe space; to share the love, the laughs, the sorrow, the heartbreak, the hope and of course the joy through words. The ceremony can be as long or short as you choose but are usually around 30 minutes. Some couples find comfort in a traditional ceremony structure including readings, poems, music, vows and a ring exchange, however this can be completely elevated to reflect your choices.
