Victoria is originally from Coleraine, and Tom is from Preston, England. Their love story began at the end of 2019 with a match on Tinder, and after three days of messaging, they had their first date. Swiftly becoming an 'item' on 11th January 2020, it felt like they’d known each other forever. 

Tom's family got to know Victoria when she moved into their home while studying at university in Liverpool after the Covid-19 lockdowns. Tom shared a promise with his dad in his final days that he would propose to Victoria at Disneyland Paris. When showing him the ring, he said, “My daughter-in-law". The couple had a dreamy engagement in August 2023 in front of the Disney castle.

Fast forward to April 2025, they not only got the keys to their first home but also tied the knot at the 5-star Galgorm Resort on 26th May 2026. Victoria says, “We can’t wait to see what married life has in store and are excited to encounter more ‘firsts’ together as a married couple”.

Victoria’s mum was her something blue, a beautiful touch that we absolutely love! Their colour scheme consisted of stunning soft pastels, lemon, pink and sage green. Truly timeless and beautiful.

How was the wedding planning experience?

We looked at different venues across Northern Ireland, but as soon as we viewed the Galgorm Resort, there was no other option in our minds. We just loved the vibe and stunning spaces it has to offer. Our wedding planner was the lovely Jenny, who went above and beyond for us, and as we live in England, this was a huge help. The venue and all of our suppliers came together to make our day even more magical than we could’ve imagined. We got married in the beautiful Phantom House, followed by a reception at the ‘art déco’ Renaissance Suite. - Victoria
