Killeavy Castle Estate had the pleasure of hosting Ciara and Conor's wedding in May this year. From their very first visit through to their wedding celebration, their dedication to creating an unforgettable day for their family and friends was evident every step of the way. It was a joy to be part of their journey.

Couples Feedback:

Our wedding planning experience was 5*, from the moment we stepped foot onsite. We booked Killeavy as our first wedding venue viewing and we had plenty more lined up. As soon as we were shown around we instantly fell in love with the venue and the staff. After the initial meeting we secured our wedding date the very same day and it was the best decision we could have made. For three years, we had constant communication from all members of the team. Killeavy staff were always prompt with their replies, advice and visual attachments to make our wedding planning run so smoothly.

Our wedding day experience was incredible. Staff were so genuinely nice to all of our guests and couldn't do enough for us. From greeting me and my family the day before and taking all our belongings for the set up, to welcoming us with prosecco and smiles on our big day. The staff never allowed Conor and I to have an empty glass so were always offering us cocktails, while checking in with us to ensure we were okay. 

We choose a range of wedding vendors and every single one of them were incredible. A special mention has to go to our Photographer and Videographer Leanne and Johnny Magill, they were absolutely incredible both on the day and delivering our photos and videos just days after our wedding. Killeavy is a stunning venue, but Valerie from Quirky Kitten did an outstanding job at dressing the castle, pavillion and dining tables with her faux flowers, candles, mirrors, neon signs and more. The energy of our wedding wouldn't have been half as good if it wasn't for all our musical vendors. From Anna Smyth doing both our drinks reception and evening saxophone duo with Holly Sax to DJ Ryan A bringing all dance music and keeping everyone partying til the early hours. A special mention also to Singers by Surprise for getting every single guest up on their feet at desert time. 

A very special vendor who we couldn't have went without was Rebecca McBride from McBride&Groom, dog chaperone services. Not only did she collect Rosie from our house on the wedding morning, but she looked after her all morning and early afternoon then had her waiting for us at Killeavy castle for snuggles and photos. She was so professional, loving and cared for Rosie like she was her own.
