Hi, I'm Eleanor, a humanist wedding celebrant with Humanists Together.
First of all CONGRATULATIONS, you're engaged or thinking of renewing your vows. Planning your ceremony can be exciting but it can also be a wee bit stressful! However, don't despair; I'm a safe pair of hands. Together we will create the most personal & unique wedding ceremony for you both; one which you will remember fondly for many years to come.
Who am I as a celebrant?
I love bringing your people together into one space (be that a venue, on a beach, in a forest or in your back garden!). I love connection and, it goes without saying that I love celebrating love in all of its forms. If you want to feel like you’re in a pair of safe & creative hands with a celebrant who is genuinely excited for you & will bring all the craic - or at least my own Scottish equivalent of the craic - then I’m your woman! I'm an experienced, authentic storyteller who will guide you through all aspects of your ceremony, including the legal paperwork if necessary, in order that together we craft a day to remember!
A bit about me
I'm a mum & step-mum to five amazing kids/teenagers. Originally from just outside Glasgow, I’ve lived on the North Coast for nearly 20 years. I adore wandering along our gorgeous coastline with my beloved pup Ziggy. When I'm not out & about, I love curling up in front of the fire with a good book & a glass of red wine or sipping on a crisp cold fizz in the sunshine. With a Masters in English Literature & Art History, I also enjoy writing poetry & prose & regularly take part in a life drawing class or a similar creative pursuit. Coffee, real bread & delicious treats also feature heavily in my life; we only have one life so I'm here to enjoy it! If this all sounds good please get in touch for a no-pressure chat!
Top Wedding Tip!

My top tip for couples is to throw the rulebook out and plan a wedding ceremony that is filled to the brim with everything you want! Want to get married in your living room with a low-key slippers-on vibe? We can do that! What about in your favourite candle-lit pizza joint surrounded by your closest friends & family? I've got you! How about a grander affair in one of the spectacular venues we have here in Northern Ireland? I can help you! We can include all the elements that you want - music, poetry...& your dog as ring bearer too! So lets drink from the quaich & celebrate love! Oh, and I'll bring the hankies as I can guarantee tears of joy & laughter.
