Prioritise what matters - identify what are the nonnegotiables, whether it’s venue, food, flowers, photos or aesthetic identity the most important elements of your special day for you.
Set a Budget – Weddings can range in cost, and no matter how big or small you want to go it’s always a good idea to decide on a budget and allocate spending according to that.
Book vendors early - if you have your eyes set on a particular supplier make sure to get in contact with them as soon as possible. Most vendors can only take on one wedding per day and can very easily get snapped up on your date.
Plan Together – Divide tasks and make decisions as a team to avoid stress.
DIY - If you’re planning on doing any DIY projects make sure to get this completed well before the big as you won’t want the added stress closer to the time. If it involves setup on the day, speak to the venue about getting access the day before or allocate someone you know to handle this on the day so you won’t need to worry about it.
